Wire Insert

Wire Inserts are available from Rapid Rivet, a distributor of Recoil® Wire Inserts that can be used
in thread repair kits and tooling for the repair or strengthening of threaded components. 

By using Recoil Wire Inserts, whether of the Threaded Recoil Wire Inserts or Locking Wire Inserts variety,
they provide a simple method of repair that helps to support the original thread.  The Recoil® Inserts can be manufactured from a variety of materials including Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel wire cold rolled into a diamond shaped cross section.   

Inconel Nimonic 90 Nitronic 60 PhosphorBronze and Type 316 stainless steel Recoil Wire Inserts are available in either standard free running form or screw lock type which provides an internal locking feature.  Wire Inserts are manufactured for every thread form including UNC, UNF, BSC, BSW, BSP, BSF, BA, NPT, and ISO Metric thread sizes.
